Welcome back as we bravely charge once again into the jungle of webcasting and streaming
video. Each edition, we focus on video over the Internet of interest to the legal community.
Universities often offer troves of video on the web, so this month Ive turned my focus to
the University of California and discovered a generous archive across the bay.

This collection of webcasts presently offers over 50 videos, each about an hour. Four main
categories divide the collection:
- Health & Medicine
- Humanities
- Public Affairs
- Science
The video archive covers many current topics, such as Iraq, genetics, stem cells, and pain
management in women. Several videos are of particular interest to legal viewers:
Only the latest webcasts are listed (since August 2006). You may easily mine the entire archive
of
over 500 videos (going back to 2000); type a word into the search box at left then click the
submit button to search by title or keyword.
Too many webcasts, not enough time.
If you see streaming audio or video you
think would be of interest to our readers, please
